Try one of these classes to learn a new hobby
This is a list of four workshops all for similar crafts - one is for a dreamcatcher, one for macrame, and the other how to crochet.

If you are looking for a craft you would like to learn, then why not try one of these three!

Here you have a great choice as it is on weekends at 10.00 am Create your very own Granny Square in Crochet for Beginners.

Time: Weekends 10am - next one on 8th June
Location: Maylands
Duration: 3 hours
Cost: $69

Crochet is just the thing if you are looking for a new hobby. You will learn how to use a crochet hook and create something special in this class for absolute beginners.

Each Crochet for Beginners class is designed for those who have had little to no experience with a crochet hook. Or perhaps you have done a bit of crochet and wish to learn that bit more?

During the class, the teacher will teach you the basic stitches such as double crochet, treble crochet, chain stitch, and slip stitch. She will also show you how to change colours while crocheting in the round. If you have the basics this will allow you to continue your crochet journey after the class.

You will be making your own Granny Square and you will be using acrylic yarn to begin your crochet journey.

Class sizes are kept small so each person will have personal attention. You will receive all the equipment including sample patterns. You will also get a non-alcoholic drink as part of the class price.

Bookings are essential and you can book here.

This will be held on Saturday 8th June 2019 from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm at 18 Peniche Road, Byford. Tickets are around $46 and you can book at the above link.

At this workshop, you will learn some basic and more advanced knots to create your own macrame wall hanging! This is a relaxing hobby and you end up with some great wall hangings.

All materials will be supplied and you will be able to choose your colours on the day. Also, tea and coffee will be provided. Classes are small groups only so you must book.

Ever wondered how a dreamcatcher is actually made? Now is your chance to learn how to make your own Tree of Life dreamcatcher.

This will be a fun morning as you learn how to make this dreamcatcher. This symbolises many things including wisdom, strength, protection, abundance, beauty, and redemption.

You will be able to choose from several different types and colours of yarns or twines to match the colours that you like, plus you can add some beads too if you choose!

Cost is $20.00 plus booking fee and it will be on at 18 Peniche Road, Byford. The workshops are all small groups so seats are limited. The price includes all your materials plus tea and coffee.
