In addition to public exhibitions and events in Melbourne like New Craft in Queen Victoria Market , Craft Cubed , Melbourne Town Hall pop-up shop and artist talk , Craft also organises professional development sessions for practising and budding makers, artists and designers.

Craft to Consumer The Write Stuff session on 13 November is designed to help artists, designers and makers to improve their writing skills across a variety of mediums. From 6pm to 8pm, you will work with 3 experts to craft your writing around your practice and discuss ways to attract the attention of media and self-publish.

Held at 31 Flinders Lane, the session will be led by Ramona Barry (Handmade Life Blog), Kent Wilson (Town Hall Gallery) and Jo Walker (Frankie Magazine). Prices are $20 for members and $40 for non-members, and tickets are available online .
