As you walk around, enjoy being inspired by the wearable art, quilt displays, paper craft ideas, textile artists and other craftspeople showing their talents. Craft can cover so many different genres these days - you will be surprised by the imagination of the stallholders. They will be more than happy to share their secrets and help you with your own projects and ideas.

This year the AQC (The Australasian Quilt Convention) held their annual challenge for quilters to create a themed piece of work - this year the theme was "True Blue". This year's entries were received from around Australia and New Zealand, and are all on show at the Craft and Quilt Fair.

With so much under one roof, settle in and make a day of it with food available to buy, or bring your own.
If it is a cold day and you are rugged up with winter woollies, their website says they will have a cloakroom for $2 per item.
You can buy your tickets online (for one day or multiple days) to save a dollar or two and avoid the queues to get in. When you buy online you are automatically entered into the Lucky Door Prize (drawn at the end of the four days) or if you buy your ticket at the door, you will need to fill out the form provided and put it in the entry box. With prizes such as these, it is quite an incentive.
The Craft and Quilt Fair will also be giving away free copies of The Australian Women's Weekly, while stocks last.
Release your creative side and enjoy the many demo's, talks and presentations at this year's Canberra Craft and Quilt Fair. This popular event will be full of like-minded people who love to share their ideas and inspire others to create their own crafts. We can't help but leave inspired!
