The art of decoupage and paper embellishments
Market Week returns to Melbourne next month where four prominent Melbourne markets (Queen Victoria Market, South Melbourne Market, Prahran Market and Dandenong Market) organise a week of family entertainment, tours, free tastings, demonstrations, workshops and more.

Craft lovers will enjoy one such activity taking place at the Queen Victoria Market organised by The Craft Gallery. Join Artist Edith JoChinke from Timeless Treasures Cottage Crafts as she presents a craft demonstration sharing her skills by making a desk organiser from scratch.

Edith will demonstrate decoupage techniques and paper embellishments that she uses to decorate all of her crafts. Such techniques can be transferred into scrapbooking or DIY projects to spruce up your home decor this spring.

Each participant will receive a free gift from Timeless Treasures Cottage Crafts and go into the draw to win a Gingerbread Cottage Kit worth $20.

The cost to attend the hour long demonstration will be FREE, taking place at Timeless Treasures Cottage Crafts, Container 11, Spring Bean Alley, Queen Victoria Market on 12 September 2014. Register online here.
