Craft Contemporary explores how craft is evolving in the 21st century across objects, jewellery, furniture, fashion and contemporary art. Running for the whole month of October (1-31 Oct) the Festival showcases online exhibitions and events and in-person events. Programs explore how contemporary ideas are being expressed by today's makers, whether it's through using new technologies or centuries-old techniques. To explore the Program, click here.

Satellite Events - The satellite program includes exhibitions, workshops, artist talks and other events by some of Victoria's most significant established and emerging makers.
Craft Poster Gallery - The Craft on the Streets Poster Gallery is presented in streets and laneways, providing opportunities to stumble across bold craft works by some of Victoria's emerging and established artists. Discover the posters in your area and share these on Instagram using the hashtags #craftcontemporary and #craftvictoria

On the off chance, we are no longer in lockdown, you can explore the in-person activities hosted by the Boroondara Council in support of Craft Contemporary. You could make an APOMAWISH and be part of a larger exhibition at the Hawthorn Arts Centre; join a Crafty Party; attend Workshops and more.
