Your generosity will be helping families doing it tough with a sick or premature baby. Stress and trauma often overshadows the joy of a new baby, and families can feel alone and isolated. Kindness means everything, and just knowing others are thinking of them makes a world of difference. There's no better way to show you care than a handmade gift that has been imbued with personal time and kind thoughts and made with love. These items are used in milestone packs and gifted to families on special days throughout the year, including Father's Day, World prematurity Day and Christmas Day, to let them know they are not alone.

If you head to the
Instagram page or
Facebook page, you can read about the generosity of Marj and Lyn (pictured below), two lifelong friends who are dedicated to the crafting cause and devote every spare second they have to knitting for LLTF. If you are as keen and would like to help make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need, perhaps you could consider starting a neighbourhood group of crafters for LLTF, or joining one, or simply keep crafting and knitting for LLTF who are in continuous need of items for as long as there are sick or premature babies.
There are more patterns to follow if you decide to be a dedicated crafter for LLTF in
knitting;
crochet;
quilting and
sewing. There are of course many other ways you can help. You could simply
donate or
fundraise by
hosting events. You could also help out as a
volunteer. If you have a friend who has just had a premmie, you can also
shop for gifts at LLTF.
