Week 2 of Cradle of Hills Winery's Sunday Taste & Talk series is all about 'Gorgeous Grenache'. Join winemaker Paul Smith in a taste and talk session about grenache and compare the winery's 2011, 2012 and 2013 vintages. No bookings are required - entry to each Taste & Talk series is free. Cradle of Hills Winery will be open to the public between 11am-5pm. Children and families are welcome - ample parking is available. Tour buses are required to enquire and book in advance.

Wine (by the glass or bottle) and lunch will be available for purchase - pricing and menu is as follows:Wines by the glass start at $5 up to $8 for the 93 point James Halliday rated ROW 23 McLaren Vale Scarce Earth Shiraz.The meals are slow-cooked and homemade - options are:Lamb yiros, bread, couscous, sauces & salads ($14);Pulled pork, bread, couscous, sauces & salads ($12);Sautéed field mushrooms, bread, couscous, sauces & salads for ($14);Children's meal deal comprises small serve of main menu or sausages, can of soft drink and choice of a lolly bag or Drumstick ice-cream ($12).

Dessert options are:Local strawberries and ice-cream with homemade chocolate sauce using Lindt dark chocolate ($6);Drumstick ice-cream ($3).
