Join Cradle of Hills winemaker Paul Smith at 2.30pm for the finale of his Sunday Taste & Talk series featuring 'the powerhouse': ROW 23 McLaren Vale Scarce Earth Shiraz
Cradle of Hills ROW 23 McLaren Vale Scarce Earth Shiraz was created as part of McLaren Vale Grape Wine & Tourism Association's innovative Scarce Earth initiative. Officially launched in 2011, nominated wineries within McLaren Vale's geologically diverse wine region produce their own single block Scarce Earth shiraz, resulting in wines described as having their 'own unique flavour profile and personality'.
With its 2011 vintage rated 93 points and 2012 vintage rated 94 points by James Halliday, Cradle of Hills ROW 23 McLaren Vale Scarce Earth Shiraz is truly a 'power house'. This particular Taste & Talk session will be an opportune time to taste and compare both vintages and explore the effects of ageing.
No bookings are required - entry to the final Taste & Talk session is free. Cradle of Hills Winery will be open to the public between 11am-5pm. Children and families are welcome - ample parking is available. Tour buses are required to enquire and book in advance.
