I enjoy making the most of life's experiences, exploring what Adelaide has to offer and sharing my experiences and discoveries with others via WeekendNotes!
There'll be something for EVERYONE
Love wine but have children to consider? Cradle of Hills winery will be the family friendly place to be whilst celebrating the Sea and Vines Festival over the June long weekend.
Cradle of Hills Family Fun celebrations kick off at 11am, with a lunch and dessert menu available (main meals from $12pp / kids menu options/prices available).
The main meal menu options are: slow-cooked lamb yiros; pulled pork sliders; mediterranean meatballs; mushroom ragout). All mains include bread, salad and delectable sauces.
At 2pm, join Cradle of Hills winemaker Paul Smith for a tour of his barrel store, including tastings of his reputable handcrafted wines.
Throughout the day, flamenco guitarist Aloysius Leeson will be playing authentic flamenco music (Aloysius Leeson Quartet will feature in the Adelaide & International Guitar Festival 2014: 17-20 July 2014).
Now for the family fun menu:
At Cradle of Hills winery kids are well and truly welcome - as are their bikes and scooters! There'll be hay bale races (with prizes) and ping-pong (table tennis). Toys will be available for toddlers and younger children to play with.
So make the most of the June long weekend, with fun for EVERYONE!
