This is going to be a fun day for the local community and entry will be free. It will be held on Saturday 30th March 2019 from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm at 69 Wharf Street, Tweed Heads.
Some of the activities for the day include:
Free sausage sizzle
Live music
Children's activities
Teenage activities
Learn about local services
Zumba classes
Screech Arts workshop
Gardening demonstration
Get up close and personal with some friendly creepy crawlies from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Enjoy a coffee from the coffee cart service

Screech Arts [/b]is an innovative and inclusive performing arts school for creative spirits of all ages and abilities. They are currently operating in Brisbane, Townsville and Toowoomba. No matter if you are interested in drama, acting, dance, film, music, singing or production or just want to have a bit of fun, Screech Arts provides a safe and welcoming place for you to express yourself.
They believe the skills that can be gained through the performing arts will help you in everyday life. Students are able to learn a number of skills through the workshops and classes that focus on things such as:
Acting
Dancing
Singing
Drama
Theatre
Film
Music
Scriptwriting
Film production
Set and costume design
They provide somewhere for Screech artists to try their creative talents, build their confidence and express themselves.
Screech Arts is a part of CPL who provides disability services and support across Queensland.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary [/b] is one of the Gold Coast's popular tourist destinations. They are a not-for-profit organisation who is leading the world in conservation. They have some amazing animals as well as an animal hospital where they treat many injured animals.

CPL stands for Choice, Passion, Life and is a leading provider of [i]"integrated support, therapy and advice for people living with a disability and their families"[/i].
At CPL they work with people of all ages to grow beyond expectations and take up new opportunities to do amazing things with their lives. They have giant ideas and are not willing to settle for just good enough.
They were previously called the Cerebral Palsy League and the name implies a sentiment that reflects everything they do. They are a profit-for-purpose organisation that provides important support to more than 5,000 children and adults with disabilities in Queensland and Northern NSW.
