Are you stuck on what unique gift to give your loved ones for the upcoming Christmas and New Year festivities? If you want to find something truly special, you should consider attending the COWbelles Exhibition & Craft Fair. This is a free event run by the Concerned Older Women (COW) group, who provide community support for women who are too isolated to participate in community activities. For your loved one, there will be gorgeous hand-made jewellery, bookmarks and other delicately hand-crafted goods. The funds will be spent on craft supplies for next year, which means that not only does your sweetheart get a beautiful and unique gift, but you'll also be doing a good deed for charity.
The event itself is split into three – an exhibition, a launch party and the craft fair. The exhibition is on from the 5th of December to the 10th at the Glebe Library during its opening hours. These are Monday and Wednesday 9am-7pm, as well as Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00am – 6:00pm and Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm. The launch party is on the 5th of December from 11:00am until midday. The craft fair is on Saturday the 10th of December, 10:00am until 3:00pm. Bookings are not required and remember - this event is free. Come along to celebrate women who help others, give your lovely lady a uniquely hand-crafted gift and do something for your soul.
