Soak up the sun and the music
The Fremantle Arts Centre is once again presenting a series or very popular events entitled Courtyard Music – just right for a lazy Sunday afternoon. This series of free, family concerts starts on Sunday 7th October, 2012 and will continue every Sunday, from 2pm to 4pm, right though until March 2013.
This annual event features performances by some of Australia's most talented and respected artists. Each week the Courtyard Music will bring to you the very best local talent, nationally touring artists and young up-and-comers for your listening pleasure. The extensive program offers something to suit everyone and includes blues, jazz, pop, folk, country, soul and funk style music.
The fantastic line-up of artists for this year's Courtyard Music concert series will include Simone and Girlfunkle, The Pigram Brothers, Ruby Boots, Harry James Angus, Don Walker, Lucky Strikes, WA Youth Jazz Orchestra, Ensemble Formidable, The Seals and many more talented musicians.
The Fremantle Arts Centre has been presenting the Courtyard Music concerts for over twenty years, attracting people from far and wide. Each concert has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the whole family or with friends. So why not pack a picnic, bring along a blanket and relax in the sunshine or under the leafy trees. If you prefer, food will be available from the café and drinks from the bar, for your convenience.
