WEA, Fun with Flowers
Learn how to design and create your own flower arrangements, no previous experience is necessary! You could use them to decorate your own home, as gifts or to start a small business.
Students are required to buy their materials and this cost may vary.

TAFE, WheelthrowingHave you ever wanted to make your own pottery? Learn the principles of this ancient technique at TAFE College of the Arts, how to centre the clay and turn it to create shapes and bowls, you will also learn basic decorating techniques, so at the end of this course you will go home with your own handmade glazed pots and bowls.
Course fees: $450 (includes all materials and tools included)

SA Writers Centre, AutofictionIf you have ever wanted to tell your own story, write an autobiography, memoir or create a graphic novel based on your own experiences; then enrol in this three hour workshop to learn from Joanna Walsh, author of the memoir "Hotel", discover how to write your own story and ways you can make it captivating.

This introductory course to silver jewellery making is designed for the absolute beginner.
You will learn basic techniques: sawing, filing, soldering, forming and embossing metal.
You will design and make your own ring or pendant in a fully equipped professional jewellery studio.

IKON, Art Therapy
This one day workshop taught by Glenda Needs; will show you how to use art as a form of therapy, how it can be used to heal and it will give you an opportunity to experience it yourself.
For centuries, art has been used not only to portrait life and moments, but also to help individuals release their feelings, experiment with the creative process and express their personality.
You don't need any experience or to be a professional artist, as this is not the main focus of Art Therapy.
Course fees: $125 or $105 concession.
