I'm a beginning writer with a Brisbane Bucket-list and a desire to see it all and report back.
Get fit and fall more in love
A couple weeks before mine and the now-hubby's wedding, one of my usual yoga haunts had been advertising 90min couples workshops for $30 per couple - bargain!. Without thinking twice, I booked in for the both of us to enjoy the session one week post-wedding. It was a brilliant class that I am very glad to see is being advertised once again for the nearing Valentine's Day.

If you haven't heard of Stretch Yoga before, you should know it began as a gorgeous little studio hidden in the centre of Brisbane's CBD, and just last year a second location in Holland Park opened up. I had been before to other classes many times with girlfriends so was really excited to share one of my favourite exercise locals with my yoga-newbie husband. You can see the review I wrote of the centre's normal classes here.
The normal cases are great too!
The class involved a lot of physical contact where we helped each other with our stretches and moves. It was lovely being able to run my fingers along his lower back and help him ease into downward facing dog and to have him push my back with his as I tried bend further than I ever have before when touching my toes. There were also a lot of moves that could only be completed if we worked together. It was kind of a poetic way to begin married life - an activity that made us work together, support one another, and ensure we always had each others' backs. It would definitely be my Valentine's day recommendation to take your partner to.
