Three of Australia's most popular country music couples: Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley, Jay and Mark O'Shea, and Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham are teaming up to combine and create an evening of country music memories in their new Show "Country Love: The Ultimate Date Night".



The six artists will present "Country Love: The Ultimate Date Night." to audiences in three pre-Christmas shows in Queensland and New South Wales from 13 to 15 December 2024.

Each artist has achieved an extraordinary collection of musical career highlights and industry accolades including winning 36 Golden Guitar Awards in Tamworth, 10 ARIA Awards and nominations, and 126 guitars.

Now all six are collaborating to perform country songs from each couple’s repertoire and some classics along with live fun games and audience participation.



Away from taking to the musical stage, you may also recognize Brooke as a contestant on reality television shows, I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here , and with Adam as they trekked the globe in The Amazing Race Australia ."

I asked Brooke McClymont about the upcoming Country Love tour.



How did the collaboration between the six of you come about?
The collaboration came about when Mark O’Shea called us on FaceTime one morning and brought the idea to us. We thought it was amazing. It’s something none of us had done (i.e working on a show with other couples) so when the four of us were talking about who would be the third couple it was a no-brainer for all of us we all said Felicity Urquart and Josh Cunningham and thankfully they were into the idea.

Have you all performed together before or is this the first time?
We’ve all worked together on different festivals and shows at some point over the years but this is the first time the three of us as couples will be doing this show together. It’s really exciting for all of us.%%

The Show is called Country Love. Can we expect originals and covering country classics?
Absolutely. The show is very much about “couple” related songs so you will be hearing originals from the 3 acts as well as some surprise cover songs.

What makes country music the perfect backdrop for the ultimate date night?
Country music is the best backdrop for every life situation.

You are doing three shows on this tour. Are there any plans to extend it to other Centres in the future?
We would love to do more of these shows in the future. Hopefully, these three runs of shows will be really successful which will then mean we can tour it to more places.
