Venue- Sturt Reserve. A great day out sitting by the river under a tree and watching the row boats. This large park has barbeques, toilets and a playground all fronting the big wide Murray River, which looks great at present with high water. And you can also find a bunyip. Take an umbrella or gazebo and sit back and watch the races.

Saturday 18th February
Marabell Bull Ride
Venue- Marabell Showground
This tiny northern town comes alive every year for the rodeo and bull ride events, which have a long tradition in the town. Action starts at 7.30 pm. There are no shops here- only a pub. Head north from Kapunda via Allendale North. I would not suggest this as a family event, however older teens may enjoy it if accompanied by parents. Live music from band Barking Ants. See more info here.

Venue- Next door to Caravan Park on the beach.
This market is always on the second Sunday of the month from 9am to 1pm. This month they will be holding a special Valentine's market with lots of sweet treats and little gifts for sale.
