As part of the Splash Adelaide 2017 Winter Festival, you are invited to come visit this cosmic array installation at the Elder Park foreshore in the city on Saturday the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd of September 2017.

Sixteen individual cosmic ray detectors will be built to give you an experience of the cosmic rays that are all around you. The detectors will twinkle with colours and sounds when triggered by these cosmic rays. Some will trigger in unison while others randomly. Cosmic rays are high energy radiation from outside the solar system that produce showers of secondary particles upon impact with our atmosphere.

This is a free event and the public is welcome anytime between 11am and 11pm over the Father's Day weekend. So why not bring dad along.
