Mozart and Madness come to Beenleigh Theatre Group

The audience favourite, COSI by Australian playwright Louis Nowra, is back for a strictly limited season this Autumn.

Tickets are now on sale for this upcoming production by the Beenleigh Theatre Group.

Directed by Timothy Wynn and featuring a talented local cast, COSI is the tale of Lewis Riley and his journey of music, madness and self-discovery.

The year is 1971. While his friends march in protest against the Vietnam War, Lewis Riley, lands his first job out of university directing a production of Mozart's opera Cosi fan Tutte... in a mental asylum. With a cast of madmen - ranging from pyromaniacs and manic-depressives, to drug addicts and obsessive compulsive disorder sufferers - Lewis grapples with the politics of theatre, true madness and love.

COSI explores the life lesson that Lewis experiences as his life is touched by these extraordinary people.
