Cork n Fork by the Riverside is a gourmet pop up by the river in celebration of good food and wine. To be held on Sunday 4th June from 11am - 4pm at Kissing Point Park, there will be lots to eat, drink, see, do and buy at this festival.

There will be stalls selling bespoke products and artisanal style gourmet goodies as well as food trucks with lots to entice you, think fresh cooked seafood, tasty Vietnamese or lamb roast rolls direct from the farm in Young. Leave some room for the decadent desserts available and wash it all down - or simply sample - a wide selection of craft beer as well as boutique wines from Orange and the Hunter Valley.

Some of the food vendors you can look forward to seeing there are Miss Mabel's - Organic Food Truck, The Shuck Truck - Fresh Australian Seafood Truck, Trangs - Vietnamese Food Truck, The Hardstyle Kitchen - Smoked American BBQ Food Truck and Waroo Lamb - Organic Lamb Rolls.

Plus a heap of Gourmet Food Products & Bespoke Market Stalls such as Goose on the Loose - Salami, Beef Jerky, Roast Garlic, Brasserie Bread - Artisan Breads, Handsome Devils Co - Hot Sauces, Black Torque Patisserie - French inspired desserts, Mini Me & Co - Designer kids clothes plus several wineries including the Fussy Grape Winery - Camden, Sassy Wines - Orange and Riverside Brewing Company - North Parramatta, just to name a few.

There will also be entertainment on the day with kids well covered by pony rides, jumping castles and craft workshops. Meanwhile, adults get to listen to up and coming acoustic artists and band, The Sea Gypsies', a perfect accompaniment to the festival atmosphere.

A little known fact perhaps, is that the Australian food and wine industry actually started right in Ryde more than 200 years ago. Back then Kissing Point Park (known in colonial days as Easter Farms), acted as the colony's fresh food hub, shipping fresh produce from its busy wharf to the Sydney markets down river.
