The Coriole cellar door is one of the most beautiful spots for wine tasting in McLaren Vale. The old cottage is surrounded by brightly coloured flowers, and if you step outside you have great views over the vines.
Coriole have three different venues popping up for the carnival, the Jazz House, the Garden, and the Film Cellar. At 7:15 the Jazz House will kick things off with Cara Boehm, and from 7:45-8:30 and 9:30-10:15 Doug Devries and Mike and Andy Bevan will take to the stage. Over in the Garden you can enjoy the sounds of Halfway to Forth, The Bearded Gypsy Band, and DJ Musical Sherpa.
For the flicks head down to the Film Cellar which will be playing films courtesy of Black Cockatoo Art House from 7:30pm.
If you're feeling peckish they have a taste of Argentinian street food on offer, thanks to Jordan Jeavons. If the name sounds familiar is might be because Jordan is one of the faces behind the Happy Motel, who tend to serve up mouthwatering food wherever they set up.
This won't be your usual cellar door show, everything is high energy from the music down to the food, and it'll be a great way to start the new year.
Tickets are $67, and that covers food and entertainment. You can buy tickets online from Venue*Tix or by calling 82258888. It's not just a party, it's a carnival.
