Copacabana Beach can be found on NSW Central Coast, approximately 1.5 hours north of Sydney or south of Newcastle. It is just a few kilometres south of the popular Avoca beach.

The beach features a whale viewing platform as Humpback Whales can be seen migrating to the warmer waters of the Central Coast region during the winter months of late May – early August. Due to the northerly currents during this period, the whales come quite close to the coastline.

The beach is a spectacular surfing and swimming beach and is patrolled by lifeguards.

The Copacabana Surf Life Saving Club is available for hire and offers spectacular and uninterrupted water views of Copacabana beach. The function room can cater for up to 250 guests and is a popular venue for conferences, off site meetings and workshops as well as weddings and parties.

For beach goes, the club offers a kiosk/café with seating outside as well as toilets and showers. Across the road, there are plenty more cafes, restaurants and shops and an awesome skate park for older children. For young kids, you will find a small playground located behind the shops. Parking is available in a carpark near the beach.

At Copacabana Beach you are within easy reach of all the central coast attractions including Terrigal and the Entrance.
