A hidden seaside oasis
If you are in the Coomera or Pimpama area on the Gold Coast and are looking for somewhere to explore near the water, Coomera Waters is ideal.

What I love most about this hidden gem is that once you're inside the tranquil seaside estate, you'll feel miles away while being so close to home. If you only have a short amount of time to spare and don't want to drive all the way to the beach, then this is your answer!

Coomera Waters
Peaceful water outlook

As I have young children, I find it's the perfect place to take their bikes and enjoy a leisurely stroll with many pathways to choose from. I enjoy taking in the peaceful atmosphere and relaxing with the sound of birds chirping and leaves catching the breeze. My husband and I enjoy getting out into nature as often as possible, so this is a great location for us as we find it's never too busy.

Depending on how long you'd like to walk for, you may choose to park in the Coomera Waters Village where the shops are and then make your way from there either around the many pathways throughout the residential area or along the harbour where you can look at the boats and sit on a waterfront bench seat to ponder life and spend some time with your own thoughts or in conversation.

When you arrive at the Coomera Waters Village, you may think you're in Madagascar as you'll be greeted by a life-size giraffe and zebra, so you'll know you've come to the right place! There's a small handful of shops with everything you need in the way of a supermarket, waterfront bar and bistro, along with a nice little cafe popular with locals. They do a decent coffee and my son enjoys their baby chinos, so it passes the test!

From the Village, if you're ready to venture out a little further, you can either walk through the estate towards the river and take in the natural vista from the riverbanks, or head in the opposite direction and spend some time down at the sandy beach where the kids can build a sandcastle and play on the playground.
