Stay as cool as ice this Summer.

Summer is almost here. The mercury is starting to rise. There's no need spend your day at the supermarket in front of the freezer section. Here's a list of suggestions to help keep you cool.

Icy Delights
There are all sorts of cool creations you can make and put in the freezer for a hot day. Fruit juice icy poles can be made by pouring juice into a paper cup and placing an icy pole stick in the middle. If it gets to a hot day and you haven't had the chance to prepare, simply put some ice cubes in the blender on high, take the shaved ice out, put them in a glass and pour a small amount of juice over the top.

Get Sprinkled
Buy a plastic spray bottle, fill it with water and place it in the fridge overnight. Use it liberally on face and limbs throughout the day.

Be As Cool As Ice
Place some cold packs into the freezer in the morning. In the afternoon, lie on the couch surrounded by them, with the fan and watch Ice Age 1, 2 ,3 or 4.

Drink Water
Make sure you drink water throughout the day. It will help to keep you hydrated.

Head To The Movies
If all else fails and you feel like you're going to expire, jump in the car and head to the movies. Cinemas are known for having the AC turned up high.

If you have other suggestions, we'd love to hear from you. Please write them in the comments box below.
