I am not a big fan of packet cake mixes. I prefer to make mine from scratch, but last week I gave in to my son's pleas to buy White Wings Chock Chunk brownies. He said he would like to make them, so who am I to stop him from becoming Junior Masterchef?

He easily followed the directions as he added the few ingredients that were required, water, eggs, and oil, beat the mixture with a wooden spoon and then we put it in the oven.

35 minutes later, the brownies were ready and OMG they were incredible! Crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside with chock chunks. As if that wasn't heavenly enough, add a bit of cream or ice cream or both and it is the best comfort food for cold winter days. Remember when you break the brownies apart, all the calories fall out. So enjoy!

We have been back since and bought more packs and junior has recruited some helpers to make these delicious brownies, all you need is:

1 pack White Wings Choc Chunk Brownies 475g
