Summary

Children feel a sense of pride when they have completed a recipe. Cooking entails nutrition, an important part of cooking and learning for children.

  • Pooh Butter

  • Be sure to prepare some on January 18th! National Winnie-the-Pooh Day!

Stir honey and softened butter then spread on graham crackers!

  • Apple Danish

  • A mixture of applesauce and spice brightens the day.

On half of an English muffin, spread butter then next applesauce. Mix sugar and cinnamon then sprinkle on top. Raisins are optional.

  • Cinnamon Rolls

  • This recipe results in an old favorite!

Roll 2 slices of bread thin. Spread butter on each. Mix sugar and cinnamon then sprinkle on top. Next, roll the bread. Use toothpicks if needed and cut into 1/2 inch pieces.

    Opinion

I think that Dambra’s cookbook is awesome! Although a children’s cookbook, I an adult learned alot!

Pooh Butter is wonderful if you are in need of a quick breakfast, can’t take a moment for lunch, if your blood sugar is low or you just want a treat!

Apple Danish are stupendous if you are plum out of baked goods and cannot afford the bakery.

Can’t prepare cinnamon rolls like your Mother? The recipe in this cookbook may not be as fancy, but sure to taste good!

    I give this cookbook a 5-star rating!
