Could your child give the Junior Master Chefs a run for their money? Or is he or she interested in developing their skills in the kitchen? Cooking classes for children have never been more popular and Brisbane has a variety of classes for all skill levels.

Beginner
Black Pearl Epicure School (36 Baxter Street) offers classes for children in addition to their adult classes. There are several simple course to choose from, like Asian cooking, Christmas cooking and cupcake design.

Yummilicious Cookery (St Bernards Catholic School, Klumpp Road, Upper Mount Gravatt) is a school designed specifically for children that teaches simple recipes as well as hygiene and safety in the kitchen.

Intermediate
H4 Hospitality (85 Edith Street, Wynnum) holds Mini Masterchef on Saturdays and during school holidays. They offer a variety of regional classes and also provide instruction on hygiene and nutrition.

Advanced
The Ginger Factory Kids Club (50 Pioneer Road, Yandina) has a school holiday program that is hosted by a Michelin starred chef. Classes are $50 each and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Now all parents have to do is sit back and sample their childrens efforts.
