Get the most out of the citrus this summer
Bring the sweetness and tang of citrus to your kitchen at the Brisbane City Council sponsored "Cooking with Citrus" workshop on Saturday, 22 August 2020 at Brisbane Square in the Brisbane CBD.

The free session will be hosted by ABC Radio Food Presenter Alison Alexander from 11am 1pm. From oranges and grapefruits to lemons and limes, citrus are a Queensland foodie favourite and Alison can help you make the most of these refreshing summer fruits. Not only as they delicious, but also packed with nutritious goodness.

Watch Alison as she demonstrates easy to prepare dishes using this kitchen favourite. Participants will also receive a collection of delicious recipes to try at home. If you miss out, once the event is sold out you can watch it as a livestream via the Brisbane Libraries Facebook page.

About Alison Alexander

Alison is a Brisbane-based food consultant. She was Queensland Government's inaugural Food Fellow, where she was the state's ambassador for food by profiling the vast array of amazing food produced across Queensland. Here she promoted Queensland's reputation in food production to other food opinion leaders and the food industry.
