Does your mum love to cook?
If you are looking for the perfect Mother's Day gift, then why not consider one of the latest cookbooks?

Dymocks conducted a OmniPoll survey and found that over 70 per cent of women love to receive books as presents. Cook books, fiction, biographies and crime are popular purchases at this time of year.

Alexandra Hammond, National Category Manager for Dymocks, has suggested five of their latest cookbooks as ideal gifts:

2. One Pot Favourites by Pete Evans

Everyone's favourite television chef, Pete Evans is back with stress-free dinners and minimal washing up. If your mum works or is busy all day, then she'll love this cookbook. The recipes are for stews, roasts, braises, curries, stir-fries and the classic meatloaf. It's a paleo book, so you won't find dairy, legumes, grains or refined sugar. It's ideal for those who have family members with allergies or intolerances.

4. Australia Cooks by Kelli Brett

For those who don't know, Kelli Brett presents ABC's first radio program especially designed for food lovers, The Main Ingredient. Her cookbook is a celebration of the flavours of this great country. It features the best recipes sent in by ABC Local Radio listeners, as well as stories and recipes from chefs.

5. Dinner with Justine by Justine Schofield

I was surprised to learn that this is Justine Schofield's debut cookbook, as her successful television show, Everyday Gourmet, has been running for several years now. The recipes focus on simple, wholesome and delicious meals made with easy to find ingredients. There are classic French dishes, with a nod to Justine's heritage.
