Taking place across 4 worlds and hubs, enjoy a weekend of beachside family fun, arts, music, food and discovery at this iconic event. With the theme of
BELONGING central to the 2021 Festival, there's a strong focus on workshops and activities that you can really get involved in, from
fishing lessons with the Fishing School and
making dumplings with dumpling MasterChef Brendan Pang, to extracting
native bush medicine with the Noongar Bush Pharmacy,
jewellery making with the Beaded Jewellery Workshop and beyond. This event promotes the
Live_Lighter message that aims to encourage Australian adults to lead healthier lifestyles and to make changes to what they eat and drink, and to be more active!

Odette Mercy & Her Soul Atomics
The four hubs are as follows -
Livelighter Community Hub - The creative communities hub! This world is all about community & creativity, a place to learn, laugh and create.
The Jetty Sessions - The beach fun zone! Celebrating what we love the most about our iconic beach lifestyle - with a mix of activities, music and play
Livelighter Omeo Hub - The nautical-inspired chill zone overlooking the ocean. The winding nooks and pathways lead to a range that's home to pirates, fairies, library teepees and more
Ocean Kitchen Garden - The food, sustainability & wellness paradise! With a focus on healthy lifestyle, food producers, cooking and gardening demos and guest speakers.
Leading the music charge over the weekend are
Odette Mercy & Her Soul Atomics and the
Buster Vogt Good Vibes Community Concert, feat.
Little Pedro and Utopian Funk. There'll be food trucks galore and your favourite ocean sunset pop-up bar, back better than ever, not to mention the incredibly popular
Mermaid Cove with extended hours to make even more dreams come true.
There is a $500 prize up for grabs with The Great Cake-Off - an intergenerational, CWA inspired, good ol' fashioned
Cooking Comp where taste trumps all. Then there's parkour, camel rides on the beach, massage, and this is only just scratching the surface. From
Yarn Storming where you'll learn binding and wrapping techniques, and help create a beautiful Balga made from simple fibres to
Bindi Bindi Dreaming X Tucker Bush presented by Alcoa to learn the extensive knowledge of the unique Aboriginal culture of Perth, the local environment and the numerous bush tucker species in the area, there are more exciting components to this event than you could comprehend! Don't miss it!
