Food and words.
The Coogee Carols are back for their 10th year, and what could be a more Australian way to celebrate Christmas, than carols by the beachfront. The 10th year promises to be another good one, with special celebrity guests, fun, carols and the Christmas spirit that the carols embrace.

The Coogee Carols are to be held on Sunday the 18th of September, from 6:30pm till 8:30pm. They don't go too late into the night, which means that that the whole family can come along to enjoy them. They're held at Goldstein Reserve, where there is plenty space to set up your picnic blanket or deck chairs, try and get there early so that you can get a good spot.

Not all of the guests have been announced yet, but two names on the line up are Simon Pryce and Julia Morris. While Julia Morris has been around for a while, recently every Australian has heard her name after she took out the top spot on Australia's new Celebrity Apprentice. While she's unlikely to be formulating any business plans on stage, she is sure to bring some fun to the carols. Simon is a well known singer, who in the past has worked on shows such as Phantom of the Opera, taking over from Anthony Warlow after an illness.

Don't worry if you can't find a spot close to the stage, large screens will be erected, so that everyone can see the on stage performances. You certainly won't be missing out. Make sure you stay till the end, because there are rumours of a special finale to mark the 10-year anniversary.

If you can't wait for the carols, which not get involved in the Christmas spirit a little early. Leading up to the Coogee Carols, organisers are running a competition on their Facebook page. Upload a picture of your favourite Coogee Carols memory from the past 10 years, and you'll get the chance to win a special gift basket on the Coogee Carols Day.

So get ready for plenty of fun, as the Coogee Carols prepare for another year. To keep up to date with announcements, follow their Facebook page. There is sure to be plenty in store for the Coogee Carols 10 year anniversary.
