The first ever Cooby Fest will be held on Sunday 24th March, 2013 at Hargreaves Park, Councel Road in Coolbellup, between 10am and 4pm.

The Coolbellup area has a strong and supportive community and the Cooby Fest is a great place to meet new friends and neighbours and re-connect with old ones.



Proudly sponsored by the City of Cockburn , this fun community event promises to be very popular. It has something for everyone - the young and the young at heart are all encouraged to get out of the house and into the park. The Cooby Fest is the perfect opportunity for residents to meet and mix.

There will be loads of free entertainment for all ages, including live music, market style stalls, food stalls, children's entertainment, displays, the Gyrotron, a Silent Disco, a Chill Out Zone and much, much more.

This Coolbellup community event will showcase the talents of local bands, dancers and performance artists including HALO, Timothy Nelson and the Infadels, Del Mundo and Sugarchild.

To open the Cooby Fest there will be a wonderful performance from the Halo Indigenous Dancers.

Hargreaves Park is a lovely leafy venue situated in the very heart of the community. Festival-goers are welcome to bring along a picnic and a blanket and enjoy lunch in the shade. Or you can Chill Out under the market umbrellas provided as you soak up the festival atmosphere in the park.

So why not pop along to this year's fantastic Cooby Fest for a day of free, family fun and entertainment? Early birds can enjoy a free coffee.

This is a drug and alcohol free event.

Plenty of disability parking available on Dorcas Way.
