The is back for 2021 and will be hosted at the Town Oval on Saturday the 19th of June. You are invited to enjoy a fun day celebrating opals. As the largest community event in town, this year's festival will incorporate a laser light show for the first time ever as well as fireworks, giant kids activities, competitions, stalls, entertainment and a parade.

With over forty stalls, you are bound to find that special something you're looking for - whether it's jewellery and clothes or handmade candles, toys and beanies. Food stalls will be serving Indian, Sri Lankan and French specialties all day long too. Gates open at midday and entry is free. The parade will begin at approximately 12:30pm with a float procession around the oval. Do check out their website for the full program.
