Lockdown in Melbourne calls for creativity in running annual events and Connor's Run is doing just that!.
If you aren't already aware, the well-known Connor's Run, established by the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation, has turned virtual this year. Instead of participants signing up to run the traditional route, pledges and commitments are being made to raise money for brain cancer. Your Way, Any Day' is the perfect motto to get involved in this worthwhile event.
Connor's Run has established itself as the world's largest fundraising event for paediatric brain cancer, the number one cancer killer of young Australians. Last year, the run raised an incredible $1.2 million. The RCD Foundation is hoping to replicate its prior success this year with the support of major sponsors and participants.
To support Connor's run, Charlie Carrington from Atlas Dining has released The Taste of Italy Dinner Box, pledging to donate a percentage of profits from sales of this dinner box to the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation in order to raise money for brain cancer research.
On Saturday, September 19th the box will be available for two, four or six people and will include the ingredients to make an authentic, Italian inspired entrée, main and dessert for the masterclass. The box starts at $70 for 2 people,
