If you are planning a conference in New York City, you may wonder where the best conference venues are. Before you start looking, you need to ask yourself a few questions, which will help you narrow down your choices. Then, look at the list below to find a conference venue that suits your needs.

How many people will be attending?
How much time will there actually be for sightseeing?
How important is it to you and the attendees that everything (lodgings, meetings, meals, etc.) be on-site?

The Strand Hotel

The Strand Hotel is located in the Midtown neighborhood, which makes it convenient to such places as the Empire State Building, Macy's (yes, the one where the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade is held), Times Square, and Madison Square Gardens. There is an on-premise restaurant and bar, and complimentary continental breakfast is served daily.

There are conference areas and meeting rooms for small and large events, so you don't have to worry about having enough space. The hotel staff can also help with catering services, airport transportation and other services.

Tribeca Grand Hotel

Attendees and their guests or families will enjoy using this conference venue, as it is located in the Historic Tribeca district. In fact, this was actually the first major hotel built in this area.

Guests can choose from the different dining options available at the hotel itself, or from the many restaurants located in Tribeca. Their guests and families will enjoy touring Tribeca and other areas, as it is convenient to public transportation, as well as being within walking distance of some attractions.

New York Helmsley

If conference attendees will include international travelers, this may be a good choice for your conference venue. The hotel is located three blocks from the United Nations Headquarters, which also puts it close to 5th Avenue. Seven blocks away is Times Square and Radio City Music Hall.

Your domestic and international guests will enjoy the convenience the New York Helmsley offers, as there is a restaurant and bar on the premises. The business center was also designed to give your maximum benefits when you hold your meetings and other events.

Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan

Located in the Midtown area of Manhattan, the Crowne Plaza hotel also provides easy access to some of the most popular New York theaters and music venues. The hotel also has a fitness facility as well as an indoor pool so attendees can relax after a long day of meetings.

The on-premises restaurant and bar means they don't have to leave the property to find something to eat and drink, unless they want to. If they do, they're only steps away from some of the best restaurants in New York.
