Warm up your winter afternoon with a concert of beautiful music followed a delicious afternoon tea!
Formed in 1978, Concordia Mandolin and Guitar Ensemble is an accomplished orchestra featuring 20 talented members who play mandolins, mandolas, guitars, double bass and piano accordion.
On Sunday 22 July, Concordia is hosting a winter-themed concert event which will feature dazzling renditions of classical and contemporary favourites and includes the exciting 'Eclipse Mandola Concerto' by Michelle Nelson, featuring Darryl Baron on mandola.
Other delights include the uncommon but surprisingly successful coupling of solo French horn with plucked strings in a lovely Mozart aria and classics of the zupf-genre by Wolki, Ambrosius and Menichetti.
A light afternoon tea will follow the concert event. We look forward to seeing you there!
This family-friendly event will be held in Armadale Uniting Church, 86A Kooyong Road, Armadale from 2.30pm.
Come along with the whole family and enjoy a beautiful selection of live classical music on a winter's day.
