Calling All Weary Travellers
This is an ideal hotel for travellers to rest their weary heads when on a stopover in Kuala Lumpur, midway through a long haul flight. The hotel is located on the KL International Airport grounds so you don't have far to travel to freshen up and relax.
To get to the hotel you get a free shuttle bus, which leaves every 30 minutes, and runs between 05:30 to 0:00 and takes about 10 minutes. To get to the shuttle bus pick up area at the airport, you need to go to level one, and go to door number three where the friendly staff will help you with bags.
On arrival the staff on reception and concierge were very friendly and helpful, and I was glad that check in did not take long as I was desperate to get to my room.
I stayed for one night in a twin room (MTR 245, £50, $77 approx), which was very comfortable, clean, and had loads of free toiletries and things in the room to keep me entertained during my 10-hour stop over.
I ordered room service - a club sandwich and fries (MYR 26, £5, $8), which was lovely and very welcome after 13 hours of plane food. Just being able to shower, watch TV and relax, in a clean safe place, made the journey not seem so long and tiring.
The room was air-conditioned and had a private bathroom, satellite TV, minibar, wardrobe, desk including hairdryer and free toiletries and also free WiFi. Most rooms have garden views, but unfortunately as i arrived in the dark and left in the dark, I didn't get to see much of the outside, but it did look very green, tranquil and pretty.
They have many facilities including a swimming pool, gym, health centre, drugstore and gift shop but again due to my arrival and departure I didn't get to make use of them.
They have sports facilities too including a football field and volleyball, tennis and badminton courts.
They have a small cafe just by the pool and also a large buffet restaurant. Breakfast was included, so I made sure I got the most out of that and filled up before my next flight. The food was great, with plenty of choices for a variety of tastes and styles.
