City of Vincent and Sixty27 will be hosting Computer Confidence Class for Seniors in conjunction with Can Do IT .



These classes will be run over 2 hours with the main goal to increase confidence in technology with seniors in our community.

After speaking to Can Do IT , they found that many seniors were not using technology resources that are available to them. This was spurred by the fear of breaking something or not knowing how to use it.

As a result, classes are structured around the senior community's interests with the first session focusing on computer Basics. Seniors can expect to learn about the computer, where to find documents, how to save work, plus many other areas focusing on basic computer confidence for seniors. Participants will also be able to join in an open discussion about other computers areas they may be struggling with.

Classes run for 2 hours and are $39.00 for Early Bird Tickets and $49.00 for regular tickets. Computers, Coffee/Tea and Refreshments will be supplied.

Bookings can be done online (for friends/relatives who are comfortable with an online booking system) or you can call 0435 432 125 for a direct booking experience.

Classes will be held on:

13 March - Sixty27 10 am to 12 noon
15 March - Leederville Library 10 am to 12 noon.
