Cosy Como Cottage, Dandenong Ranges
Depending on availability, there is a choice of three cottages to accommodate for families and five on offer for couples. We stayed in Como Spa Cottage, a sweet little cabin built in the 1920s, with open fireplace, spa bath, and the majestic surroundings of mountain ash, ferns, and fresh air.
Get into relax mode with Elle Naturale Olinda's massage and day spa treatments in the privacy of your cottage or, if you prefer to head out, saunter up to their premises in the heart of Olinda village.
Each cottage contains full cooking facilities, breakfast provisions, large spa or bath, digital TV, DVD player, CD hi-fi system, free WiFi, games to play, book library, in-house massage, candles & incense, and lush green gardens to explore, each with their own entrance and parking.
There's plenty to see around Olinda: visit the SkyHigh Observatory and dine with a view, Tesselaars Plant Nursery for green thumbs, Sherbrooke Art Society or Five Ways Galleries for art lovers, enjoy happy hour from 5–7pm at the popular Pig & Whistle Tavern, try tea and scones at Miss Marples Tea Rooms. Olinda Cellars hold wine tastings every Friday night. Go walking through William Ricketts Sanctuary, Olinda Falls, or Sherbrooke Forest. Or for the ultimate workout, walk the 1000 Steps Kokoda Memorial Walk.
