Find Something Quirky, Kitsch and Fresh
Find anything and everything at a community market. Looking for something cute, unique or a bargain? Take a look at one of the many markets around. There's bound to be one open on pretty much every Saturday and Sunday of every month. The ones listed below are in beautiful bush settings in the Whittlesea and Murrindindi areas. Take the time to have a look at what the country community has to offer.
This market is run by the Wallan Scouts. Support the kids by shopping at one of the hundreds of stalls. Shout yourself some plants, clothing, unique crafts or some fresh produce. You never know what you'll find.
Bundoora Park Farmers Market Bundoora Park, Plenty Rd, Bundoora Every first Saturday of the month 8am-1pm Lots of fresh regional food s available. This is right next to the Bundoora farm so a great day out for the whole family. A small entry fee applies.
Bollygum Community Market 40 Kinglake-Whittlesea Rd, Kinglake Every second Sunday of the month Sept-May 10am-2pm
This is set up in the Bollygum park. This market offers fresh produce, arts and crafts, collectibles, plants and lots of other cheap finds.
