Find anything and everything at a community market. Looking for something cute, unique or a bargain? Take a look at one of the many markets around. There's bound to be one open on pretty much every Saturday and Sunday of every month. The ones listed below are in beautiful bush settings in the Whittlesea and Murrindindi areas. Take the time to have a look at what the country community has to offer.

Saturday Community Market

Every third Sunday of the month 8am-1pm

This market features fresh produce, arts and crafts, plants, collectibles and much, much more.

Wallan Old Time Market
Hadfield Park, Northern Highway, Wallan
Every second Saturday of the month 7am-2pm

This market is run by the Wallan Scouts. Support the kids by shopping at one of the hundreds of stalls. Shout yourself some plants, clothing, unique crafts or some fresh produce. You never know what you'll find.

Bundoora Park Farmers Market
Bundoora Park, Plenty Rd, Bundoora
Every first Saturday of the month 8am-1pm
Lots of fresh regional food s available. This is right next to the Bundoora farm so a great day out for the whole family. A small entry fee applies.

Bollygum Community Market
40 Kinglake-Whittlesea Rd, Kinglake
Every second Sunday of the month Sept-May 10am-2pm


This is set up in the Bollygum park. This market offers fresh produce, arts and crafts, collectibles, plants and lots of other cheap finds.


Monday Whittlesea Market
Whittlesea Showgrounds, Yea Rd, Whittlesea
Mondays 8am-1pm

This is a large market with over 100 stalls. You're sure to find a bargain with lots of second hand stalls. There's a poultry auction every week and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Yea Country Market

First Saturday of the month 9am-2pm

Showcasing an array of quality produce including arts and crafts, this market also includes children's activities, a skate park and playground. The gold coin donation is donated to local charities.

Marysville Community Market
Murchinson St, Marysville
Second and fourth Sunday of the month

Locally produced wares are sold. Homemade biscuits, preserves, lavender products, chutneys, honey, clothing and a range of gifts are all available.
