Join People Who Care Inc. in Perth's first Senior Outdoor Fitness World Record Attempt on the 28th April 2017 at Elizabeth Quay. Bring your friends for a fun 30 mins of light exercise and enjoy stalls, food, and displays.

[b]GUINNESS WORLD RECORD**
A new 'unofficial' Guinness World Record was set on 20 June 2014 for the largest seniors outdoor exercise class where a total of 52 people turned up for the exercise class in Sydney's northern beaches.

Prior to this attempt the only other existing, similar world record for people over 70 years old, is the oldest dance troupe, The Hip Op-eration Crew from New Zealand, consisting of 23 active members aged 67 to 95 years old, with an average age of 79 years.

On the 28th of April 2016, to coincide with international pay it forward day, Perth charity People Who Care launched Perth's first Seniors Outdoor World Record Attempt, and family fun day at the amazing Bell Tower at Elizabeth Quay.

Over 25 exhibitors and 148 participants over the age of 60 completed a light 30 minute exercise routine, visited stall holders, and enjoyed the entertainment put on during the day.

In 2017, the event promises to be bigger and better with attendees (aged 40 to 100 ) encouraged to bring their friends and family for a fun day of activities, free health checks, programme advice, entertainment, food and giveaways! One hundred percent of all donations, registration fees, participant sponsorship's and funds raised from our sausage sizzle and event day competitions, all go towards the People Who Care charity as well as projects to support people living in the community and experiencing hardship, disadvantage. Money will also go to help people escaping emergency crisis situations.
