Free films for family fun
The Moncrieff Theatre in Bundaberg, home to live venues, community and corporate functions and well-priced tickets to all the best new release movies now has yet another reason for you to plan a day out there.

The 2014 free community movies list is comprehensive and full of variety, sure to leave any movie-goer satisfied with their experience.

Completely free of charge, once a month the Moncrieff opens its cinema to the public with a movie screening from 10am.

Already, Song For Marion and Mao's Last Dancer have made their appearance, with Roman Holiday and Strictly Ballroom lined up for March 5th and April 2nd respectively.

After that, The Impossible with Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor on May 7th, Diana on July 2nd, The Man From Snowy River on August 20th, The Help on September 3rd, Gigi on November 5th and White Christmas with Bing Crosby on December 3rd.
What a line up.

June 4th sees the U3A Variety Concert replace the community theatre for one day - this has a $2 admission and showcases the talent of various cultural groups that make up the U3A.
October also sees a slight change in programming with the Combined Schools Concert taking its place on stage.
Details of these events will be released closer to their dates, however the list of free movies is out now, so grab your date book and your date and make a plan to head down to the Moncrieff.
