If you're interested in archaeology, then
Community Archaeology Weekend might just be the perfect day out for you on Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd of May 2022. You will have the opportunity to explore and discover the past through displays of material culture, artefact analysis, archaeological demonstrations, talks, multimedia presentations, exhibitions, guided historical tours and reenactments.

There will also be a chance for the children to act as archaeologists and dig up their own artefact with guidance from Flinders University archaeology students. And, when they're feeling peckish, sausage sizzle and drinks are available for purchase.

This fun-packed weekend will be held at the Courthouse Museum on High Street in Willunga. Admission is free between 10am and 3pm, however, donations are most appreciated. Bookings are not required. For more information, please contact
