Commonground Festival is not your average festival. Yes, you can enjoy food and music and even rough it camping (or stay in comfort nearby should you wish). There is a stage, bar, kids' space, indoor lounge areas and outdoor campfires. However, this is a festival with a purpose!


As the name suggests, Commonground is about working together for a common purpose; a just, sustainable and peaceful world. It aims to bring together social change advocates in a celebration of the social change movement.

As such, the weekend sees a number of workshops related to social justice. Funds raised support community groups and social justice initiatives and the event is planned and run entirely by volunteers. You can therefore be 100% assured that your ticket fee will be put to good use.

The festival aims to inspire like minded people and encourage collaboration. Held in a beautiful 100 acre bushland property in Seymour, with all necessary facilities for any weather condition, this is a festival not to be missed.
