Have a day free to explore Bangalore? Commercial Street is a good place to start. This street is filled with jewellery, clothes, homewares and anything else that you could think of.
I recommend taking your time and going to
Fab In India. This chain store lives up to its name. The goods are handmade. You aren't allowed to bargain in this store. The profits go back to the communities who make the goods. The quality is exceptional. They stock a range of Indian clothing, scarves, shoes, homewares, jewellery. The products are as such that they are easily transportable back to your country of origin, and
Fab In India also delivers across India and internationally.
Fab In India is well-known for Indian's living outside of India. The service was great. The staff member who served me was very patient whilst I tried on a number of different outfits. It is the 'quiet' store on the street.

Once you've exercised your credit card in there, head across the road to
Woody's. You won't break the bank. It's a good place to get a quick Masala Chai and smash down a cheese Dosa. Think fresh, light and delicious. They have a range of other morsels you can try to.
Next, you could head to the
Palace, or down to
Pub Street. The
Botanic Gardens are beautiful too. That should well and truly keep your day occupied.
