Commedia Del Parte is held every Thursday at The George Lane Bar in St Kilda. It features new and established stand- up comedians, both Australian and International. The standard is varied but usually pretty high.

What's more, instead of an entrance fee, you pay what you feel the acts merit. The drinks are average in price unless you come early to make the most of Happy Hour which is between 7 and 8pm. There is a food menu too. In all, it's a budget night out (depending on how much you opt to pay of course!)

It's a fairly small venue but soon fills up. The atmosphere is good, the seating comfortable and you're guaranteed to have a few laughs.
