Memories take me back to my childhood where you could buy and swap second-hand books and comics from the local store. There were thousands of comics and it would take me hours each Saturday morning to go through the well-worn editions of
Archie, Betty and Veronica, Marvel Legacy, and Ginger.

"The Art of Storytelling"
Presented by the Storytelling Through Comics Panel, this event will look at how comic creators get their story ideas, the art of creating a good storyline and what comics you should read to your children. There will be plenty of time to ask questions. This discussion commences at 6.00pm.
For your enjoyment, live music will be performed by geek pop singer-songwriter Meri Amber during the evening.
While there, you may like to explore the library's graphic novel collections. This event is not to be missed. All of the above events are free, however,
bookings are essential. For more information, you can ring the Ashfield Library on 02 9392 5000.
