Oz Comic Con returns to Sydney and this year it will be hosted at the brand new International Convention Centre (ICC) at Darling Harbour.
You can expect actors from; Vampire Diaries - Michael Malarkey and Matt Davis, Teen Wolf - Ian Bohen and from Grimm - David Giuntoli and Bitsie Tulloch. Christy Romano who played Belle in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast, and Jasom Momoa of Game of Thrones will also be attending.
Meet authors and comic creators; Nicola Scott (Wonder Woman), Mike Mckone (The Amazing Spider-Man) and Sci-Fi author Queenie Chan, amongst others.
For the most up to date, guest list, check the Oz Comic Con website. You can also get the latest news by subscribing to their newsletter or follow their Facebook page.
Hosting Oz Comic Con at the ICC in Darling Harbour means it's more convenient to get to, with the light rail adjacent and parking in the same building (as well as other parking stations nearby). You can also walk from Town-Hall or Central railway stations.

The Comic District - Chill out on a beanbag with one of the latest comics, draw your own comic and meet comic book artists who often do custom sketches (for a fee). Get your special code for a month's free trial of Marvel Unlimited e-Comics.
The Gaming Zone - Challenge newbies to your favourite boardgame or test-play new video games before buying them.
Cosplay Competitions - For all ages, the cosplay competition is a chance to show off all your hard design work on stage, with opportunities to win prizes. Kids especially will love it.
Market stalls - Peruse a huge range of merchandise and collectibles including artwork, jewellry, costumes, books, comics, custom-made (themed) clothes and accessories, games, autographs and movie memorabilia, plus much more. Oz Comic Con attracts vendors from all around Australia.

I love attending the panel discussions offered, where you can ask famous actors and authors questions, in a small and personal setting. Make sure you arrive early to get a good seat. It's a good way to find out about your favourite tv show (though don't expect any spoilers). For any budding writers and artists, it's a good opportunity to learn how to turn your creativity, into a full-time job.
There's more than enough to keep you occupied for a full day and if you attend the panel discussions, then you should highly consider getting a weekend pass, as otherwise you'll feel rushed.
Even if you're not familiar with an actor, it can be interesting finding out about what goes on behind the scenes, when the camera's switch off, or what it's like to work with some of Hollywood's biggest names.
