Dive in and have a go at Synchronised Swimming

SynchroWA, along with Perth Synchro clubs SupaNova (South) and West Coast Splash (North) are offering a series of FREE sessions for school-aged girls and boys to come along and have a go at this unusual and beautiful sport.

Synchronised swimming is a hybrid form of swimming, dance and gymnastics. No special skills or experience are required, however, the ability to swim is desirable.

These Come and Try sessions offer the perfect opportunity for your budding synchro superstar to jump in, have a go, see some of our more experienced athletes perform some of their award-winning routines and find out more about the opportunities available in the sport.

WA head coach, Briana Preiss is looking forward to welcoming the next generation of Synchro Super Stars."We offer lots of opportunities throughout the year for kids to come and have a go at synchro but this time of year is the most exciting as it's the start of another brand new season, and lots of our existing athletes are able to show off their routines - and their sparkly competition bathers."

Miss Preiss points out that although Synchronised Swimming is a small sport, it offers big opportunities and many benefits including:

  • Fun, friendship & fitness

  • A workout for the brain remembering complicated choreography

  • Flexibility

  • Increased aerobic capacity

  • Increased Stamina and endurance

  • Increased muscle strength

  • Discipline

  • Increased confidence and team building
