Come Together is bringing together musicians from around the globe to celebrate diversity in everything on Saturday 5 March 2016, 12pm - 8pm in the peaceful surrounds of Eltham.
Now in its second year, the festival embraces the ethos of community, wellbeing and diversity and transforms Edendale Community Farm into a celebration of international music, good food and friendship.
Live Music
Enjoy Afro-Funk from the Seven Ups, alternative pop from the Ruby Set, reggae from Ras Jahknow and experimental-electronic folk-pop and FUN from The Jills.
Melbourne-based band The Meltdown will have you melting to smooth Jazz and Blues, while "Gypsy Doof Doof" band The Scrimshaw Four will get your energy levels up!
The Cumbia Cosmonauts will get you dancing with their Caribbean offbeat rhythms, Miss Colombia will trip you out with her funky psychedelic tropical hip-pop and The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra will touch you to the core with their tribal rhythms.
Talented DJs
You're in good hands with experienced DJs with a wide range of musical tastes. John Bailey from triple RRR 'Stolen Moments', Dom Hogan from PBS, Fyoog, DJ Obliveus, the Sorceress and Liz Millar will have you dancing through the afternoon and into the sunset.
Snuff Puppets - Roaming Performers
Watch out for the Snuff Puppets, an experimental circus-like roaming giant puppet troupe, pushing the boundaries of theatre.
Fun for Kids!
This is a festival which celebrates diversity, so naturally there's plenty for families of all shapes and sizes!
The kids will love Charlie Silly Pants and his crazy friends with their interactive magic show. Enjoy giant bubbles and nutty antics with Tim Tim the roving clown.
Have some quiet, creative time with eco-friendly craft activities and face painting, or let the kids get their dancing shoes on with The Yellow Dance Spot's creative dancing activities.
