Come 'n' Try Adelaide is a program of sports oriented school holidays activities for kids. During the April school holidays you can come and try more than a dozen different sports in Adelaide, with each sport costing around $5-10. If you're looking for fun things to do for your kids in the holidays, this is a great thing to try.
The choice of sports on offer from Come 'n' Try Adelaide include baseball, hip hop dance, lacrosse, life games, rugby union, softball and taekwondo. It's a great way for children to learn more skills and interests, meet new friends, and it's active school holidays fun for kids.
Each sport offers more than one session time, and joining in is as simple as booking online. Book for one sport or more - you can go to as many as you like. All of the come and try sessions are held in Adelaide, with many being held at a central hub in Park 17. Park 17 is located in the south parklands east of Peacock Road, near the corner of Greenhill Road and Glen Osmond Road.
The come and try sports sessions are fun for kids between the ages of 5 and 16 years old. They can either try a new sport or play something that they have already tried before. Organised by the non profit company who manage the "Life. Be in it." program, Come 'n' Try Adelaide is sponsored by the City of Adelaide. The sports training sessions are operated by the respective sports association, who provide the trainers and equipment used during the come and try session.
